About

I am the leader, main composer, and keyboard player for the ten-piece jazz-fusion band Starsign. I am also a founding member of the San Diego-based fusion band Sweater Weather.

I love all types of music, but jazz and rock are my favorite genres for songwriting and performance. I can teach piano in any style.

I studied jazz and piano at the University of California, San Diego, which is one of the most innovative music programs in the United States. I composed Dream of Mushroom for the UC San Diego jazz ensemble, which included parts for 26 different instruments. Dream of Mushroom helped me to win the Southern California Jazz Society Award in 2024.

I have a broad set of skills. In addition to teaching piano and keyboards, I can compose, arrange, produce, and mix. I can also write original music for websites, videos, and commercials. I am also happy to record, transcribe, and arrange for your own musical projects.

I do most of my composition with MuseScore and most of my recording and production with Logic Pro.

If you are curious about what I can do for you, just ask!

I would love to hear from you.
